(Year 2017)

Figure 2

The pattern is Great Wall increases by 2,200,000. Taj Mahal increases by 11,390,000 and finale Angkor Wat increases 2,700,000

Predict the same tourism information for the selected sites for the year 2019, assuming the pattern identified figures 1, 2 and 3 continues.

  • Angkor Wat prediction= For 201 I think it will increase by 100,000 (which makes it 2,700,000) since from 2019 to 2018 it increased by 100,000
  • Taj Mahal= For 2019 I think it will increase by 4,890,000 (which makes it 11,390,000) because the difference from 2017 to 2018 is 4,890,000
  • Great Wall of China= For 2019 I think it will increase by 2,200,000 (which makes it 143,400,000) since the difference from 2017 to 2018 is 2,200,000

Search for the actual data for 2019 and compare your predictions

 Actual data (Angkor Wat)=2,600,000

 Actual data  (Taj Mahal)= 6,900,000

Conservation of heritage buildings is very important because it provides a sense of identity and continuity in a fast changing world for future generations Angkor Wat (threats)=Another threat is air pollution, the chemicals in the air erode the fragile temple, and can cause it to fallGreat Wall of China (threats)= Natural factors that have negatively affected the Great Wall include thousands of years of sunshine, rain, storm, mudslides, and earthquakes.Taj Mahal (threats)= Acid rain on reacting with the calcium carbonate wall of Taj Mahal, resulted in the yellowish colour Prevent ourselves and other from scribbling on the wallsParticipating in the regular cleanliness DrivesBeing apart of the Adopt a Heritage initiative
